Field Notes

Description:

Nearly 3 inches long. Its scales were so smooth that I thought it was skin!

Habitat:

Found in our unlandscaped backyard

Notes:

This little gecko was rescued from the bottom of our empty pool (under construction) by my Dad. He had never seen a gecko in Arizona and was thrilled to see it! It proceeded to quickly crawl away from us upon release.

Thanks Des! The way the light hit it made it look greenish.
They're not usually green are they, if they are... it's still cool
