Description:

I took this picture in a visit to the Cannyons in São José dos Ausentes municipality, South Brazil. It was a quite foggy morning, so the colours are a bit faded

Habitat:

Altitude Grasslands, on short grass and rocky grounds.

Notes:

This bird is endemic to the highlands above 900 meters in Rio Grande do Sul e Santa Catarina, in south Brazil. :)
