Field Notes

Description:

This specific plant (Cyclamen persicum) are the parents of the Cyclamen family. They are the most popular Cyclamen growing species in the family.
The leaf shape is obtuse and the stems are single. The flowers are red, pink, white, and lavender. They are annual because in the winter they barely survive because of the cold weather. They usually stop flowering in April. Cyclamen flowers reproduce by seed when the fruit capsule ripens on the ground. Cyclamens usually grow among rocky areas, forests, also among shrub vegetation areas.
