Description:

This is the New Zealand Kingfisher. His colours are actually a little brighter than they appear in this photo. His chest is cream to white, his head has quite a turqouise green and his back and wings also, with a white band separating the colour on the head and the colour on the body. Classic kingfisher beak and pose.

Habitat:

Seen in rural backyard, New Zealand
