Toothed Jelly Fungus
Pseudohydnum gelatinosum
44.3191, -68.2653
Field Notes
Description:
Grayish-brown jelly fungus with teeth on the underside. I tried to wipe off some of the pieces of wood off of it, but they seemed a bit stuck on. It was like thick jelly, and did not break when prodded. The cap was soft and maybe even a little velvety
Habitat:
Rotting log at a shady campsite in Acadia National Park
