Field Notes

Description:

This is growing out of the side of a huge chilamate (see photo). Most of the leaves are around 7 cm long, the fruits are about 4mm and have very tiny seeds. The leaves are a bit leathery.

Notes:

Need help with tree again! This fruit of this tree is ripening now and we noticed particularly because the spider monkeys are visiting it every day - very low & close to the house so it must be tasty. We are looking, in vain so far, for other ones. Lots of bird life interested as well, lots of manikins and some sort of shrew.

Thanks! How about ficus colubrinae?
