Chalcid Wasp

Conura amoena

Comments (1)

Hi Leonardo. This is a chalcid wasp in the family Chalcididae. Probably in the genus Conura - which is widespread throughout the New World. These are parasitoids of a variety of things - but most commonly Lepidoptera pupae. There have been several other spottings of these wasps from Brazil in Project Noah (just search on Conura).
