Could be Urena lobata or something related. It is best to get photos of as many different parts of the plant that you can to get an ID.
interesting. yes, hibiscuses are great! have liked them for a long time. I have only gotten to really see them in the last year. this flower was about the size of a nickel!
It is definitely some type of hibiscus. I have Texas Red-starred hibiscuses in my yard.
