Description:

Almost stepped on this guy while doing night patrols at work. When I came near he quickly curled up and lifted his head as if her was going to strike. I put a little more distance between us, walked behind him and took these photos.

Habitat:

San Luis Wildlife Refuge parking lot area. Urban/wild land interface
