I think this is a wolf spider. Carrying lots of babies on its back

Habitat:

Sandy trail between swamp and dry oak forest

Definitely a wolf spider (Lycosidae). They are the only spiders carrying spiderlings on their backs. This is possibly Rabidosa sp.
