Description:

Black wings with a wide V mark in white. Head is red in colour. Bold colours stand out.

Habitat:

Chilapata Forest is a dense forest near Jaldapara National Park in Dooars, Alipurduar district, West Bengal, India. This photo was taken in the garden of the Chilapata Jungle Lodge which is located right where the jungle ends; boundary wall actually.
