Field Notes

Description:

Rare to the San Francisco bay area. Mostly found in dry desert parts of the states. <br>
Gray upper parts with bold white stripe above the eye and mustache. Black line above the white line above the eye and a lower white eyering. Black throat to the chest. Light gray under parts. The bill is also dark gray.

Habitat:

Spotted on rocky hills feeding on fennel seeds and hiding in poison oak
