Field Notes

Description:

1,5cm long. First I believed it was a moth, but I´ve never seen a moth with this fly-like translucent wings. So I think it´s a kind of fly

Habitat:

found resting at a Persimmon fruit - Diospyros kaki

Species ID Suggestions

Lepidoptera: Sesiidae

Comments (4)

I think it is some Clearwing moth, but not sure of the common name or
lovely spot ,the background is giving a nice effect on the wings!
