Wildlife Spotting

I believe this is a Santol tree and the small items falling off the tree are seeds? Hundreds of these little things fall off every day. In photos 1 and 2 you can see them clustered on the tree. Photo 4 is a close-up of some of them that have fallen onto a table under the tree.
