Field Notes

Description:

This picture shows one of the orange mystery mushroom C but a few days later. They are more faded, larger, a little floppier, and the spores are choclate/cinnamon brown. The caps have a little bit of minute brown scales. The gills are the same color as the cap. When they were younger, the cap was more light orange as were the gills. White hairy attachment to the wood. Any guesses? I really can't figure it out with the books I got, but that it's probably some kind of Crep?

Habitat:

dead wood

Notes:

Chocolate/cinnamon brown spores, white fuzzy attachment to the wood. Overlapping somewhat, sometimes a little more spread out across the wood.
