Description:

An attractive if unknown but frequently encountered and friendly species of jumping spider.

Habitat:

Observed in a large semi-urban yard & garden situated next to a disturbed patch of remnant forest. This is in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.

Have seen this spider before but cannot pinpoint the name of it.
Thanks Lanzz. Yes it has some similarities but it does not occur in New Guinea. There's only one recorded species of the genus in NG: gazellae, but I can't find any clear images...
