Field Notes

Description:

Ray flowers are pale blue to purple, 7 to 15 mm long. Disc flowers are yellowish. Flowering occurs from August to October.

Habitat:

Grows in various habitats, from moist woods to dry, open prairies.

Notes:

Spotted on a south facing hillside by the Tamarac Visitor Center.
