Field Notes

Description:

Almost all life stages seen on the Magnolia Tree. Eggs found midline on leaves, small nymphs in black and red, larger tan nymphs and brown adults. This species feeds on Magnolia fruit.

Habitat:

Suburban yard. Feeding on a Southern Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora).
