Spider Egg Case

I found this egg-case lying in the middle of a trail. I had see one like this before attached to the branches and leaves of a desert bush. This one looked exactly what I had see before except that it was unattached and on the ground. When I picked it up to look at it I noticed it was very silky to the touch, softer, finer than a cotton-ball. Then I noticed spiderlings emerging and crawling on it! Finally, I knew what it was; a spiders egg-case! Before, I had presumed that maybe it belonged to a kind of moth but upon doing a little research and believe it may belong to the desert tarantula (Aphonopelma sp.). I'd love any help with identification :)
