Description:

Plants trailing at maturity, stem slender, wiry, hairy
Flowers pea-shaped on a raceme arising from the leaf axil; pink with deeper pink and light spot at the base of the standard petal; keel slightly longer than the wing and standard petals.
Leaves. Compound with three leaflets; leaves pressed against the stem; leaflets elliptical, half as wide as long; with fine hairs.

Habitat:

Growing in open area near lake shore.

Notes:

Flowers may be pink, purple, white or violet.
