Crambid Snout Moth

Crambidae; Pyraustinae; Euclasta sp. This moth has extremely long legs and it rests with its wings closed. This results in a very peculiar posture, which, once you know it, makes this type of moth recognizable even some distance away. I have not come across much information about moths of this genus, but the two that I have seen (this and another one) look very similar in size, style and posture. Even the colours (a combination of white, light brown and dark brown with a black spot on each front wing) are very similar. I don't know how many Euclasta spp. are present in Philippines.
