Description:

Tentatively placed in Fungi. Roundish, pale fungus? Slight tan coloration on top. Smooth looking surface. No stem.Retained water droplets from overnight. Could this be a Slime Mold?

Habitat:

Devil's Hole State Park, Niagara Falls, New York. Forest. Shady area, found "growing" on a rotting log.
