Description:

Amazing coloured bee eater, one of the larger bee eaters, about 12-15cm tall. Green to Olive on the back, blue under the wings,apricot chest, Black eye stripe,white to cream on the top of the head and under the beak, Red necklace under the chin. Black long slightly curved beak.

Habitat:

Seen in open woodland near the river
