Description:

From far I thought it was a skipper butterfly but it is a moth. Maybe Sphingidae moth. Fat abdomen with circular raised bands. Wings are rust coloured.

Habitat:

On the staircase in my office. There was a huge thunderstorm last evening...maybe it took refuge.

Notes:

Recently dead by the look of it. Never seen this species before. Apologies for posted something dead.
