Description:

a common type of dung beetle in forests

Habitat:

in this case a forest with mainly beech trees an other leaf bearing trees, (oaks not uncommon either) not much undergrowth. however there are many of them all over the veluwe Which includes needle bearing trees

Notes:

i've already seen a few thousand of them in different forests. if you walk around a forest about every 10-20 meters you'll find one
