Field Notes
Description:
It is approximately 20 cm long. There is no sexual dimorphism. Juvenile greenish back and chest and beak with gray spots. The couple can sing synchronously (vocal duet).
Habitat:
It can be found throughout Brazilian amazon in shrubby areas and dry forests, abandoned pastures, fields with isolated bushes and trees, gardens in cities, clearings, riverbanks and wetlands in wetter areas.
