Description:

The Great-Blue Heron is a huge bird that stands full neck extended about 4 feet. It has an incredible wingspan that is about 3 feet each wing at an estimate. The Great- Blue Heron is a grayish blue with black and white markings on face. The bird also has a few crest feathers that stick out past the of its head. They feed on fish and other pond and lake life. They will hunt snakes and other types of reptiles and aquatic life.
