Description:
Growing in a fairly dense patch of plants. Smooth stems. Leaves are ovate, hairless and coarsly serrated, green on top and white or pale green underneath. Tiny green flowers bloom from small branches between where leaves branch out from the main stem. Flowers are pollinated by wind. Looks similar to stinging nettle. Native to Eastern North America.
Habitat:
Devil's Hole State Park, Niagara Falls, New York. Forest. Growing in a shady area.
