Field Notes

Description:

A species endemic to the western ghats. The major threat is habitat loss. Currently the IUCN status is vulnerable. Many specimens of this species that i have come across were found on the rocks that closely matched the color of the frog skin. Saw around 5 individuals close to the stream. Another highlight of this species is, they breed in small holes on trees which gets filled with rain water.
