Description:

"Like all true spiders, the jumping spiders do create silk, but not for web making. Habitat:

Observed on Sansevieria trifasciata in a large semi-urban yard & garden next to a disturbed patch of remnant lowland forest.

Yes, I did not include that part but it talks about that in the same link I posted in description.
Interesting. I think I've seen jumpers use silk like a 'safety line' too... like recovery for when they miss a target. ??
