Description:
They sometimes have pointed leaves that are mid-green in color. Their are groups of single or double flowers that bloom in different shades of red, pink, mauve, purple or white.
Habitat:
Their habitat include both floodplain and woodlands, savannas, meadows in wooded areas, semi-shaded seeps, and rocky glades. They grow natively in Eastern North America and from Southern Ontario to Georgia.
