Field Notes

Description:

Beautiful bird, small, maybe 10-15cm tall, gorgeous rusty orange colour on the back and wings, dusky pink on the chest, and deep blue green on the head with a black eye stripe. Very slimline bird with long tail.

Habitat:

Seen in open woodland/grassland in Selous NP.
