Field Notes

Description:

A group of at least 6 noticed the boat they made a beeline for it. They proceeded to swim and play around the bow, swimming back and forth in front of it. Dall's Porpoises surface much more quickly than Harbor Porpoises.

We also saw a couple more on this trip a little further away. Here is a video I took of them swimming: https://youtu.be/0KpP7p_d9i4

Habitat:

Swimming around the bow of a boat a few miles from shore.
