Description:
herbaceous, annual, weed, simple leaf plant, with a small flower with 2 blue petals that look like mouse ears and one white petal, bloom only lasts one day, and is about a foot (12 inches) long; stems diffusely branched lye on the ground but with erect or rising tips - decumbent stems - that tend to root at the basal nodes; stems hairy or pubescent; leaves directly attached to stem with no petiole (sessile) are narrowly lance shaped and measure 3–12 cm (1 1⁄4–4 3⁄4 in) by 1–4 cm (1⁄2–1 1⁄2 in) wide
