Description:
Caterpillar aggregation at the bases of a tree. The individuals of this genus are special because not only the larvae phase (caterpillar) inflict a painful sting (intoxication known as erucism), but the adult (moth) is equally dangerous and burns just as much with it's abdominal scales that are modified in seta (lepidopterism).
