Description:

Tiny zebra marked bee with thorax based large straw yellow downward facing hairy combs. Are these for pollen carrying, which i observed in this area of the body in a previous posting?

Habitat:

Garden with native flowers especially stichwort, goldenrod, woodland aster, daisy fleabane, cinquefoile, buttercup. Please replace your lawn with native "weeds" = wildflowers which nurture native bees.
