We once had this one, one of my hardest ever to ID: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/17359119 Your is the female of Cerberus, I think. Karen's is the male, but I have some doubts about hers being Cerberus, although Julian Donahue brought that one into the came (besides Druryi). I did not had the time to discuss that with Julian. But I am still very confident about the ID of Karen's Trichura sp. Please, verify Cerberus for your wasp moth! I am pretty sure, but would not bet my ranch on it. http://www.entomologenportal.de/g1710p5470-Trichura-cerberus.html You have to look very carefully at each vein and marking to compare... But it was a fine final ID for this great day! Good night!
Thanks bayucca, another wasp moth identified!
