Spewing little ball

I visit a magical big stump that has hosted a lot of different kinds of mushrooms and always has some interesting surprises. In this case, some teeny tiny gray balls that have spewed spores of something like that. I don't know what these are, they're probably about 1 cm or so. I'm assuming it's a kind of fungus ball.
