Description:

Are you looking at me?! From the Collins Bird Guide, 2nd edition: "In winter often visits birdtables in worst Rambo style, chases off others". That says it all.

Habitat:

A patch of mixed deciduous/conifers forest.

Notes:

Like other nuthatches, this bird has the ability to climb down trees, unlike species such as woodpeckers which can only go upwards.
