Field Notes

Description:

A beautiful salmon colored geometrid moth with two grey patches on each fore-wing. Both wings had delicate grey wavy patterns. wing span about 25mm.

Habitat:

Spotted near eucalyptus trees.

Notes:

Now, who'd burn holes in the wings with a cigarette butt ?! - a dramatically beautiful geometrid from subfamily Larentiinae
