Field Notes

Description:

Series: I found this nest of young Barn Swallows in my car port. For over a month, I monitored them daily, from their first little peeps, until they left their nest and took their first flight. One of the photos show their mother feeding them. She'd go out for about 5-10 minutes at a time in search of food... and when the she'd return, they'd all be chirping with excitement (hunger).
