Description:

This is a male individual, as his dorsal ridge is on display.

Habitat:

Seen in Everglades National Park, FL.

Notes:

It's also called the Bahaman anole and is native to Cuba and the Bahamas.

Yes its difficult to tell them apart when they are brown if you don't see them all the time. I hope you get to see a green one!

Mauna, this is a brown anole. The nose is a bit different and Carolina Anoles don't have those white markings on the sides when they are brown.
