Field Notes

Description:

Large Great Horned Owl spotted flying up to its perch high in these pines during the late afternoon.

Habitat:

Forrest Hill Cemetary

Notes:

I was biking through the cemetery when I spotted a huge bird fly across my peripheral vision. When I came to the clearing, I saw this beautiful owl perched high in the trees. I wish I had a better camera to get a better photo.
