This is a Black Swallowtail Papilio polyxenes. It can be distinguished from the Spicebush Swallowtail by the orange spot with the black center on the inner margin of the hindwing, and the medial row of orange spots which is not broken by blue. This site offers a good comparison. http://www.naba.org/chapters/nabambc/frames-2species.asp?sp1=Papilio-polyxenes&sp2=Papilio-troilus
