An edible species, though probably too insubstantial and uncommon to bother. It has styptic qualities and was used in the past to dress wounds.

Hi chesterbperry, Would you mind removing this fungus spotting from the Osteology Mission? Osteology is actually the study of vertebrate bones. It's a detailed study of the structure of bones, the skeletal elements, teeth, morphology, function and disease. Osteology aids in identifying vertebrate remains with regard to age, death, sex, growth, and development. Although this is a great find, it doesn't fit in the mission like your opossum jaw does. Thank you for your understanding! :)
