Description:

Mating horseshoe crabs. Many were all over the shallows in this beach area.

Habitat:

Muddy beach. Shallow, murky water. Thomas Point Beach.

Notes:

Many mating. Several were stacked upon each other at a time; perhaps an indicator of the chemical signals of available females.
