Field Notes

Description:

This insect is about 1 cm in length and 4mm in width. It is colored an orange- red on it's head, thorax, and wing. The orange leafhopper doesn't have antennae, has black spots on it's head, and a black outline on the bottom of it's wing. The tarsus of the insect seems to be colored lighter, perhaps white.

Habitat:

Found in Singapore, but very common in South East Asia. I found three other orange leafhoppers on a different leaf.
