Description:

An environmental weed in drier areas of northern Aus, native to Africa, the Middle East and Asia. A shrub to 3m, forming small apple like fruits which exude a toxic white sap. Spread long distances by wind, water and mud. Member of the Apocynaceae family.

Habitat:

Monsoon rainforest adjacent a river
