Thanks bayucca. Now I don't feel bad not finding it.
Definitely a Footman Moth, Erebidae, Arctiinae, Lithosiini. Then the troubles start... Is it Eilema sp., quite a controverse genus: http://species.wikimedia.org/wiki/Eilema Not Pusiola, note the color of the legs: http://www.africanmoths.com/pages/EREBIDAE/ARCTIINAE/arctiinae/pusiola%20leiodes.html Just Lithosiini: http://www.ispot.org.za/node/187923?nav=related Another Eilema IDed by Roy Goff: http://www.ispot.org.za/node/240812?nav=related Probably not this one if you look at the strong spot: http://www.africanmoths.com/pages/EREBIDAE/ARCTIINAE/arctiinae/eilema%20sanguicosta.html Looks like being a tricky one.
This looks very much like a northern hemisphere moth Scarce Footman (Manulea complana) Arctiidae might be a start.
