Field Notes

Description:

I spotted this hawk hanging out in a spot I have seen red-wing blackbirds before. No sign of the RWBs (not yet this season, anyway) but the RSH looks hopeful of finding a meal here.

Notes:

Spotted in a man-made detention/retention drainage area next to road in front of a mining operation in Kennesaw, GA
